PostDoctoral Researcher (m/f/d, 100% FTE) in the Department of Public Mental Health
The Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) stands for cutting-edge international research and ground-breaking treatment concepts in psychiatry, psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatics and addiction medicine.
The Department of Public Mental Health (led by Professor Ulrich Reininghaus) develops and evaluates new mobile Health (mHealth) interventions, with the goal of translating evidence from epidemiology into mental health service innovations. In the scope of the BMG project REMIT, a digital intervention will be developed and evaluated. The project will lead the development and implementation of an Ecological Momentary Intervention (EMI) tailored for individuals with long COVID.
The Department of Public Mental Health is looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher (m/f/d) (100%, FTE).
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years, with an option of extension.
Your tasks
- Plan, coordinate and manage the development of a digital intervention and a Randomized Controlled Trial
- Contribute
to a multidisciplinary, international research team that collaborates
with clinical services and research departments at CIMH and conducts
innovative research in the field of Public Mental Health using novel
technologies (e.g., experience sampling apps, physiological sensors) - Present findings from research projects at scientific conferences
- Publish papers in international peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to the writing and submission of grant applications
Our expectations
- Excellent Master degree and a PhD in
psychology, mental health services research, implementation science,
public health or epidemiology or another, related field of medicine, the
social or health/life sciences - Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Expertise
and interest in research in public mental health, mental health
services research, epidemiology, public health and ecological momentary
assessment/intervention - Experience with statistical analysis of epidemiological, experience sampling and experimental data
