Senior scientist position (tenured) in cultural psychology

The Dept. of Psychology at the University of Zurich (Switzerland), seeks applications for a tenured, full-time position in Cultural Psychology (starting date: August 01, 2025). The position will be newly established and independent from the other professorships. It has a strong focus on research but also encompasses teaching of two classes of 90 min per week, each (in German or English). Candidates should hold a PhD in psychology (or related disciplines), have an excellent track record of academic achievements showing both a strong theoretical focus and emphasis on robust, replicable empirical results in the field of cultural psychology, and demonstrate willingness to collaborate actively with researchers from related disciplines. Candidates are expected to deliver high-quality teaching, develop and implement an engaging curriculum in cultural psychology, and advise students in this area.
