Lecturing position "General Psychology"

offers a lecturing position for the Bachelor's programme in Psychology

for General Psychology 1 (WS 2024) & General Psychology 2 (SS 2025)
(2 Semester hours each)

Lecturers are expected to present an overview of the development of general psychology and its methods, as well as the basics of human perception, memory, learning, emotion, motivation, thinking, and decision-making to Bachelor students of psychology. Part 1 of the course will take place in Winter Semester 2024, while Part 2 will take place in Summer Semester 2025.

Sigmund Freud University (SFU) is a private university accredited under Austrian law since 2005 with its headquarters in Vienna and branches in Berlin, Linz, Paris, Milan and Ljubljana. The SFU is authorised to provide academic education at Bachelor's and Master's level within the framework of the Bologna criteria and is entitled to award doctorates and habilitations.

The courses should not be offered as a block but in a weekly, max. fortnightly rhythm on site (not online), which is why experts from Berlin and the surrounding area are preferred. As we offer these courses each year, this is an opportunity to join the SFU team on a regular basis.
